The BK1010 is designed to upgrade a compatible e-bike that already has an electric drive system. It is not intended to convert a non-electric bicycle into an e-bike.
Compatibility depends on your wheel setup, rear dropout width, brake type, handlebar size, battery, connectors, and existing electrical system. Review the Compatibility Guide or send Picarlo your bike model, battery label, and clear photos before ordering.
The BK1010 is supplied as a matched system with the motor wheel assembly and tire pre-fitted, controller, your selected 635 or 640 display, throttle, sensor, and matching extension cable. Refer to the product configuration shown at checkout for the final contents.
The 1000W BK1010 is designed for stronger acceleration, trail use, and moderate off-road riding on a suitable e-bike. It may exceed e-bike limits in some jurisdictions, so confirm local road and trail rules before use.
Professional installation is strongly recommended unless you are experienced with higher-power e-bike systems, motor wheels, brakes, wiring, and safety checks. Picarlo can review your bike before arranging installation at its West Covina location.
Possibly. The battery must fall within the stated 24V-60V system range and match the selected controller's voltage, current output, connector, and condition requirements. A battery that is underspecified or mismatched must not be used.
Choose the 635 if you prefer a simpler, more streamlined interface. Choose the 640 if you prefer a more detailed information layout. Both options must match the selected Picarlo controller and kit configuration.
No. Picarlo kits are sold as complete, pre-matched systems rather than as separately purchased retail components. If a component needs service after purchase, contact support for diagnosis and the available warranty or repair options.
